Here are some easy tips to help speed up your WordPress website:

  1. Use a quality cache plugin. By using a cach plugin such as W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache you can reduce file sizes and much more to help your website load faster.
  2. Optimise your images. Using an image optimiser such as Smush can help reduce your image file sizes meaning they will load faster on the server. Also make sure you optimise your image sizes. There is no need to have an image with the dimension 2000x2000px when 500x500px will be enough.
  3. Use a Content Delivery Network. Often referred to as a CDN, this will help your website speed by serving your site from locations closer to your clients and visitors rather than your actual server location. There are many available to choose from such as Cloudflare which offers a great free plan to get you started.
