What are the default nameservers?

The default nameservers for your account will depend on the server is on. The default nameservers for your server will be shown on your Account Information email received after sign up or you can find your nameservers is to use your WHM account and follow these simple steps:

1. Login to your WHM account
2. Click on “Basic Webhost Manger Setup option under Server Configuration from the left hand side menu
3. Under the first option: Inherit Nameservers from root you will find the default nameservers for your server.

*Please note: Selecting the option “Explicitly Set the Nameservers” and entering your own custom nameservers will not change anything on your domain name. This option is to set the nameservers you wish your customers to use when creating client accounts.

Before you select this option you must create your own nameservers by adding host names/glue records for your domain through your domain name registrar.
