How To Set Up Webmail On Microsoft Outlook 2013
In this article we will look at how to set up webmail on Microsoft Outlook 2013. Before you begin you will need to create a new @yourdomain email address in your cPanel control panel and add a password to this new email account.
Here is a step by step guide to help you get started with Webmail email addresses and Microsoft Outlook 2013.
Step 1 – Open and login to your Outlook 2013 email client.
Step 2 – Select the file menu and choose Info.
Step 3 – Click the Add Account button.
Step 4 – Choose Manual setup or additional server types and click next.
Step 5 – Choose POP or IMAP and click next.
Step 6 – Here you will enter your account setting:
- Enter your Name as you want it to appear on your outbound email messages.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter mail.example.com as your Incoming Mail Server.
You would not enter example.com but your own domain name.
- The Outgoing Mail Server is the same as your Incoming Mail Server.
- Enter your email address for the User Name.
- Enter your email password.
Step 1 – Click on the More Settings button on the right hand side and select the Outgoing Server tab.
Step 2 – Click the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox.
Step 3 – Make sure that you are using the same settings as your incoming mail server option.
Step 4 – Click on the Advanced tab and use the following:
For SSL connections enter Port 995
For non SSL connections enter Port 110
Step 5 – Click OK to save these settings.
Completing Your Setup
Step 1 – Click next on the email accounts window
Step 2 – Click the finish button to complete your setup process.
